See It to Believe It
One of the most mesmerizing objects on view in the Getty exhibition Pacific Standard Time: Crosscurrents in L.A. Painting and Sculpture, 1950-1970 and also included in Phenomenal: California Light, Space, Surface at the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego is Untitled by Helen Pashgian. In order to fully appreciate the work, indeed to experience it the way Pashgian intended, you have to see it in person.
